Sixteen Varsity Sports for Men and Women

Merrimack College has a rich history of sponsoring athletic competition at all levels.

We currently offer 16 intercollegiate varsity teams, fifteen of which compete at the NCAA Division II level in the Northeast-10 Conference. Men's hockey competes in the Division I Hockey East Association.

Intramural Competition

You can also become involved in competitive sports, fitness activities, and recreation through Merrimack's intramurals and recreation program.

Professor Arthur Ledoux, professor of philosophy and a Fulbright Scholar in Sri Lanka, teaches philosophy, religion, and the humanities and has research interests in Buddhist-Christian dialogue.
