Class of 2013 Profile

Over 550 new freshmen and 75 transfer students began classes at Merrimack this fall. About 2,000 students in total are on campus.

Merrimack’s class of 2013 has an average GPA of 3.2, is in the top third of their high school classes, and comes to Merrimack from 23 different states and 12 countries such as Nepal, Nigeria, Sweden, and Brazil. Over 90% live on campus.

On the transfer student front, the College has about 75 transfers this fall. An estimated 52% are  from two-year colleges, and 48% are  from four-year institutions (38% public four-year; 62% private four-year).

Merrimack’s new Honors Program also attracted students. Enrollment in the Honor's Program experienced a 50% increase from last year.
