EARLY ACTION AND REGULAR ADMISSION - FALL 2009
The Merrimack College merit-based scholarship program was established to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of our admission applicants.
All accepted early action and regular admission applicants will be considered for the merit-based scholarships as outlined below.

These scholarships are guaranteed for four years provided the recipient maintains the required cumulative grade point average at Merrimack College.
* Academic courses and grade point average will determine the eligibility and level of scholarship as evaluated by the Office of Admission Committee. These scholarships are available to United States citizens and permanent residents of the United States.
Austin Scholarship
This is a full tuition scholarship offered to students graduating first in their class. This scholarship is guaranteed for four years providing the recipient maintains a 3.4 cumulative grade point average.
If you are interested in applying for Federal, State or need-based aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by our February 1st deadline. The Merrimack College Federal School Code is 002120 and the FAFSA is available on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
TRANSFER APPLICANTS - FALL 2009
Academic scholarships for transfer students are based solely on their academic achievement. These scholarships are available to United States citizens and permanent residents of the United States.

Full-Tuition Transfer Scholarships
Liberal Arts
One full-tuition scholarship is offered for a liberal arts transfer student who has earned an associate's degree from one of the Massachusetts community colleges and has a 4.0 cumulative GPA and the transfer admission application file is complete by April 15.
Business Administration
One full-tuition scholarship is offered for a business administration transfer student who has earned an associate's degree from one of the Massachusetts community colleges and has a 4.0 cumulative GPA and the transfer admission application file is complete by April 15.
Science and Engineering
One full-tuition scholarship is offered for a science and engineering transfer student who has earned an associate's degree from one of the Massachusetts community colleges and has a 4.0 cumulative GPA and the transfer admission application file is complete by April 15.
If you are interested in applying for Federal, State or need-based aid, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by our required deadlines. The Merrimack College federal school code is 002120 and must be used when filing the FAFSA. The FAFSA application is available on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
For fall semester consideration, the FAFSA should be filed as soon after January 1 as possible, but no later than our deadline of April 30. For spring semester, our deadline is December 1.
Please be aware that academic scholarship opportunities for mid-year transfer students are subject to availability of funds.

International Scholarships
International applicants who have strong academic credentials will be considered for scholarships ranging from $3,000 to $15,000.
Athletic Grant-in-Aid
Recipients are selected by the Department of Athletics to which all questions regarding this type of aid must be directed. Please note: Based on NE-10 Conference regulations, football scholarships are need-based as defined by the federal government.
