Orientation 2010

Welcome to Merrimack!

New Student Orientation programs are intended to provide new students with the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve personal, spiritual, social and academic enrichment in a new and challenging environment.

Orientation is a transitional period and stepping stone into the Merrimack community. As incoming first year students, Orientation is there to provide students with an up-close and personal experience with their future surroundings and peers.

The programs are designed by 4 student Orientation Coordinators and presented  by the Coordinators and a group of Orientation Leaders (all upperclass students) and involve all members of the Merrimack College community.

Students are invited to attend one of the two orientation sessions offered, and the dates are June 21-22 and June 24-25. Incoming students will have a chance to not only experience Merrimack's campus, but also stay in a residence hall!

We have a great group of Orientation Leaders for this years program, headed by Brendan Ahern, Tara Bartley, Hannah Cunningham, and Kyle Neary.

And remember, Merrimack is Only a Step Away.....

We also offer a one day Orientation for families, which is June 21 or June 24. For more information regarding Family Orientation and nearby hotels, please click here

Fall Orientation for New Students

Fall Orientation is a great way for first year students to get settled in on campus before the upperclass students arrive. Fall Orientation will be held this year on Sunday, September 5th and Monday, September 6th. The Orientation Staff intends to make the transition as smooth as possible for all first year students.
