Dr. David Westerling is an associate professor in the Civil Engineering Department at Merrimack College. His office is located on the first floor of the Mendel Center.
Dr. Westerling has taught: CE107A - Engineering Communications; CE111A - Elements of Surveying; CE311A – Geology; CE338A – Fluid Mechanics; CE349A - Environmental Engineering; CE352A - Soil Mechanics; CE400A - Ethics; and CE434A - Geotechnical Design.

Dr. Westerling received an Assoc. Engr. in civil engineering technology from Wentworth Institute (1966); a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts (1970); an M.S. in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (1975); and Ph.D. in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (1995).
