Faculty Profile

Professor Frances Quinn is a Certified Financial Planner™, Chartered Financial Consultant™, and Associate Professor of Finance at Merrimack College, a member of the faculty for over 20 years. She holds a B.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. with a Finance Concentrate from Bentley College. Ms. Quinn also attained a certification in Advanced Managerial Studies from Babson College.

Professor Quinn has co-authored and published many financial papers in refereed journals. Her most recent paper was presented at the Southern Finance Association’s annual conference. The paper entitled “Sectoral Portfolio Exposure and Geopolitical Risks: A 911 Event” was part of the published proceedings. She has also made presentations on Personal Finance at the Financial Education Association. Professor Quinn has taught managerial finance, investments, financial markets and institutions, international finance, financial planning and services, and personal finance.
