Student Mail
All resident students are assigned a mailbox number and issued a key upon room check-in. Students are required to have this key to access the mailbox since regulations prevent staff from opening mailboxes. Mail addressed to students must bear the correct mail stop number. Mail without a mail stop number cannot be delivered and is returned to sender. Students are required to check their mailbox regulary-unclaimed mail is returned after 30 days.
Students keep the same mailbox for all four years, and hold their mailbox key the entire time. Mailbox keys must be returned to the Campus Post Office when leaving residency or at the end of senior year. Failure to return a key results in a $25.00 charge. Mail is forwarded for 6 months after leaving campus.
Commuter Mailboxes
Commuter mailboxes are now available at the Campus Post Office. A limited number are available on a first come, first served basis. All currently registered Merrimack commuter students are eligible. Apply at the Campus Post Office. There is no fee charged for this service. Students are charged for lost keys.
