Job Description:

This dual appointment position requires a BOC certified Athletic Trainer with a minimum of a Master’s Degree in a related field with 3-5 years of experience and demonstrated excellence in college teaching.   CSCS/ACSM certification strongly encouraged.  Teaching responsibilities may include strength and conditioning courses, athletic training labs and clinical experiences, and anatomy and physiology labs.  The candidate is also required to perform as a clinical instructor for the ATEP.  The Department offers degree programs in athletic training, sports medicine and health sciences and educates students for a variety of productive careers in sports medicine and human performance.  Position available July 1, 2010.  Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae and three letters of recommendation, statements of educational philosophy/teaching approach and professional activity to Birgid Hopkins, Director of Sports Medicine, Merrimack College, 315 Turnpike Street, North Andover, MA 01845 by April 1, 2010.
