Why Attend?
For those interested in learning how CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, system engineers, designers and business managers view the potential of RFID technology and its benefits across present and future enterprises will find this conference enlightening and educational. AIDC technology continues to grow and deliver significant improvements in commercial and government enterprises. The use of barcode identification of goods, product and valued assets continues but is being steadily challenged by RFID technology. As RFID evolves, it’s finding new non-barcode applications and is exploring advancements. At present RFID is perceived to be a more costly - notwithstanding the greater performance of the electronic tag over the barcode, the barcode is cheaper. But a revolution in RFID is taking place that business leaders and decision makers need to understand. RFID is not about to replace barcodes, but there are an increasing number of applications where RFID is the solution of choice (cost is shown to be offset by performance concurrent with a positive ROI).
